Our focus today is on Worship, Adoration and Thanksgiving

Friends, I will like us to look at what the scriptures say about thanksgiving, Praise and Worship before we can pour out our heart gratitude to our Father.

Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise: give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever, His faithfulness continues through all generations. Ps100:4-5.

Let everything that has breadth praise the Lord. Ps150:6.

May the praise of God be in their lips and a double-edge sword in their hands. Ps 149:6

Give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1Thes5:18.

Praise, Worship, Thanksgiving and Adoration should be a lifestyle. Let us live praising, worshipping and thanking God and He will always inhabit our praises.

Let us Praise God now:

1. Thank God for sustaining Buea Community Church for these past five years
2. Thank God, for making you part of this vision.
3. Give thanks to God for the growth and increase of Buea Community Church
4. Thank God for blessing and connecting Buea Community Church with the three Networks (The Christian Network in South Africa, Ground Level Network in UK and Grace Network in the US)
5. Let us thank God for the consistent support coming from these three Networks.
6. Let us thank God for the theme of the Conference “Bringing in the Harvest.”
7. Thank God, for the harvest He has prepared for Buea Community Church.
8. Let us thank God for making the field ready for the harvest.
9. Let us praise God for the blessings that are tied to the harvest.

Welcome to day 4 of our prayer chain. Today we are praying for the Bakweri tribe, the people who live in Bonduma, Buea and for the nation of Cameroon.

   1. Pro 14:34 KJV Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
   2. Rev 14:6-7 KJV And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, (7)  Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
   3. Rev 5:9-10 KJV  And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;  (10)  And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
   4. 2Co 10:3-5 KJV For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:  (4)  (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)  (5)  Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
   5. Luk 4:18 KJV  The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
3. Pray for Bakweri People
   1. The Bakweri people have had a lot of bloodshed for the sake of land! Pray therefore for the Lord to have mercy on the land.
   2. Pray for the strongholds of tradition to be broken so that the indigenes can be set free to serve the Living God, and added to the fold. (Very few Bakweris have believed who come from this area, after so many years of fasting, prayer and evangelism carried out in this area). Their refusal to accept strangers is a disservice not only   to their physical development but more so spiritually.
   3. Ask the Holy Spirit to prepare their hearts to open up to the gospel when they hear it preached.
   4. Pray that God will save men of influence in Buea, from several domains of life – governor’s office, council, military, medical doctors, financial authorities, Police, warders, business people, etc
   5. Break the power of unbelief in the people’s hearts
   6. Break the backbone of religion. Many hang on a hollow form of religion/church made up mostly of Church activities but lack a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and do not experience a life of victory in Christ Jesus.
   7. Pray that more Bakweris will be called into the ministry: Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Teachers, Pastors, etc so as to take the gospel to their fellowmen.
   8. Thank God for the fertility of the land and the produce it brings forth.

   7. Bind the strong man of the city, who has kept people in darkness.
   8. Bind the spirit of religion that operates in the city of Buea.
   9. Overthrow the prince of the power of the air in Buea.

5. Pray for foreigners living in Buea.
   1. Most churches are made up mostly not by the indigenes but by foreigners. Pray that the Bakweris will be hospitable and welcoming to foreigners.
   2. Pray against any land issues between the Bakweris and foreigners for peace to reign.
   3. Pray that the fear of God will rain down on the people and that righteousness will sweep across the land. Pray that as the rain of God’s presence and power falls, even stones will be soaked in brokenness and repentance as we pray.
   4. Pray on as the Spirit continues to lead you for Bonduma, Buea, Cameroon.

Welcome to day 3 of our prayer chain. Today’s focus is on praying for Buea Community Church (BCC) and the partners God has given us for the work of the ministry.

   1. 2Co 8:23 ESV As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker for your benefit. And as for our brothers, they are messengers of the churches, the glory of Christ.
   2. Luk 5:4-7 ESV And when he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”  (5)  And Simon answered, “Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word I will let down the nets.”  (6)  And when they had done this, they enclosed a large number of fish, and their nets were breaking.  (7)  They signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink.
   3. 1Co 3:9 ESV 9) For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building.
   4. Mat 16:17-18 ESV And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.  (18)  And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Eph 6:11-12 KJV Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  (12)  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

3. Pray for BCC
   1. Leaders to keep away from sin and focused on God.
   2. The destructive influence of gossip in the Church
   3. Ability to connect with the vision and mission of the Church
   4. Supernatural growth in numbers and in the spirit
   5. Break spiritual forces of evil rising up against the church
   6. Boldness on those who need to step out as leaders
   7. Pray that each member at BCC will be passionate about following Jesus and serving Him.
   8. Pray for mind renewal for those who still have a worldly or cultural mind that is preventing them from moving forward in God.
   9. Pray that God will strengthen marriages at BCC.
   10. Pray that BCC children will fear God and desire Him daily.
   11. Pray for young adults at BCC for God’s direction in the areas of jobs, marriage plans, travel plans, school plans, etc.
   12. Pray for open doors for employment and financial blessings.
   13. Pray for the power of creativity, innovation and divine business ideas.
   14. Pray that everyone at BCC will be actively involved in doing something to bring people into the Kingdom of God. That everyone will find and put their talents and gifts to use for God’s glory.
   15. Break the power of laziness in the lives of those who are poor because they are lazy. Ask God to pick them up from the dust where they are.
   16. Pray for those who may be living consciously in sin: drunkenness, fornication, lying, stealing, adultery, gossip, bitterness, backbiting, jealousy, laziness, traditional/cultural practices, anger, Unforgiveness,
   17. Pray for the team of missionaries coming to BCC next year for a very high spiritual impact on BCC members
4. Pray for our Partners in the gospel
   1. Thank God for Julius Esunge and his family in the US. Pray for their protection, blessings, provision, promotion and continuous desire for God and is ministry through HOIM.
   2. Pray for Pastor Jack Groblewski who leads grace Network and pastors NC4.org. Ask God for grace to cope with work, family and ministry demands.
   3. Pray for Pastor Francois in South Africa together with his family and ministry team for God to continue to anoint and use them in the nations of the world.
   4. Pray for Stuart Bell and his family in England for renewed strength to continue with the work of the ministry at his Church and at Ground Level Network.
   5. Pray for more financial and prayer partners for all our co-labourers

PRAYING FOR PERSONAL SPIRITUAL CLEANSING AND PREPARATION FOR THE HARVEST

   1. Mat 9:37-38 KJV  Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;  (38)  Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
   2. Jos 3:5 KJV  And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.
   3. Isa 59:1-2 KJV  Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:  (2)  But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.)
   4. Mat 6:9-15 KJV After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.  (10)  Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.  (11)   Give us this day our daily bread.  (12)  And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.  (13)  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.  (14)  For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:  (15) But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
   5. Pro 28:13 CEV If you don’t confess your sins, you will be a failure. But God will be merciful if you confess your sins and give them up.
3. Pray

On the first day of this prayer chain, we want to focus on the labourers that Jesus spoke about. God will not work through an unprepared vessel. God will not use a man with unrepentant sin in his/her life. If we must be channels of the harvest, we must empty ourselves of any sin so that we can be effective labourer for the harvest.

So pray

• That the Holy Spirit will right now begin to search your heart and life to bring to your attention any sin/s you need to repent from.
• Look at the following list of sins:
  1. Gal 5:19-21 ISV Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, promiscuity, (20) idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, rivalry, jealously, outbursts of anger, quarrels, conflicts, factions,  (21)  envy, murder, drunkenness, wild partying, and things like that. I am telling you now, as I have told you in the past, that people who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
  2. Col 3:5-10 ISV So put to death your worldly impulses: sexual sin, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed (which is idolatry).  (6)  It is because of these things that the wrath of God is coming on those who are disobedient.  (7)  You used to behave like them when you were living among them.  (8)  But now you must also get rid of anger, wrath, malice, slander, obscene language from your mouth, and all such sins.  (9)  Do not lie to one another, for you have stripped off the old man with its practices (10) and have clothed yourselves with the new man, which is being renewed into full knowledge according to the image of the one who created it.
  3. Mar 7:19-23 ISV For it doesn’t go into his heart but into his stomach, and is expelled as waste.” (Thus he declared all foods clean.)  (20)  He continued, “It is what comes out of a person that makes a person unclean.  (21)  For it is from within, from the human heart, that evil thoughts come, as well as sexual immorality, stealing, murder,  (22)  adultery, greed, wickedness, cheating, shameless lust, envy, slander, arrogance, and foolishness.  (23) All these things come from within and make a person unclean.”
  4. 2Co 12:20 ISV  I am afraid that I may come and somehow find you not as I want to find you, and that you may find me not as you want to find me. Perhaps there will be quarreling, jealousy, angry feelings, selfishness, slander, gossip, arrogance, and disorderly conduct.
• Which of these sins does the Holy Spirit convict you of? Would you humbly ask God for the to repent and for cleansing.
• That God will give you the power to repent from any sin/s He reveals to you without justification, especially the sin of Unforgiveness and gossip.
• Ask God to ignite in you a passion for the lost.
• Ask God to give you divine strategies to reach the lost.
• Ask God to destroy laziness in your life. Lazy people waste God’s destiny/plan for their lives and live in poverty.  (Pro 12:24 CEV Work hard, and you will be a leader; be lazy, and you will end up a slave. Pro 19:15 CEV If you are lazy and sleep your time away, you will starve.)
• Ask God to prepare you to receive from Him during the harvest Anniversary week
• Ask God for personal revelations about your own life and future.
• Ask God for revelation about Jesus Christ.
• Ask God for revelations about Buea Community Church. What is God saying to you about the Church?
• Ask God for strength to faithfully pray throughout the week.
• Resist the forces of evil that the Devil is bringing against you. (Jas 4:7 CEV Surrender to God! Resist the devil, and he will run from you.)
• Be thankful to God for your life and all He has accomplished in and through you. (1Th 5:18 KJV In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.)
